To maintain and grow our standard of excellence, we are seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to support the CEO’s vision and oversee daily activities. The ideal candidate has a sharp business mind and proven success managing multiple departments and commerce both domestically and internationally toward company growth. You will be highly skilled in efficient business processes, finance, IT management, inventory management, procurement, customer care, and human resources. Additionally, you’ll display a proven ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within our team. Your ultimate responsibility is to ensure all of our functions consistently exceed any expectations of good standing.

Duties

  • Organize & present on monthly team meeting
  • Organize & assist with product development processes
  • Project management
  • Review sales and distribution contracts with internal team and legal ensuring all agreements are honored and align with company priorities
  • Work with ADP PEO to ensure HR compliance
  • Create, maintain, and update international price sheets
  • Maintain company property logs & send out company property forms
  • Responsible for editing, sending, filing all contractor agreements, and notifying all the appropriate departments
  • Collecting and filing W-9s
  • Assist with GS1 and GTIN
  • Ensure CRM and all software and apps within the website are up to date and functioning as they’re meant to; work with appropriate support teams to troubleshoot as needed
  • Maintain Google / G Suite
  • Manage the warehouse and inventory
  • Review weekly SKU usage
  • Create monthly inventory analysis; monitor for replenishment
  • Oversee logistics & warehouse
  • Manage Lab relationships to ensure BOMs are created properly, BOMs are up to date, and production timelines are met
  • Weekly open order call, maintaining notes of production status
  • Oversee logistics tracking of all orders in transit
  • Assist with / manage ordering of components and or deco as needed
  • Participate in weekly sales, ops, and KPI calls; monthly Shopify call
  • Assist with legal & trademark issues
  • Maintain COGS worksheet
  • Assist with certification applications i.e. B-Corp, Leaping Bunny
  • Create corporate strategy with leadership and team; execute / oversee execution of strategy.
  • Manage and troubleshoot IT issues; ie maintain Connex link, EDI connections, etc
  • Work with Finance & Sales to create forecasts and budgets
  • Submit a weekly summary to leadership and review team’s weekly summaries
  • Assist with insurance coverage issues
  • Maintain Zonos account and countries
  • Proof artwork and files as requested
  • Work with Finance, Marketing, & Sales to determine gratis, GWPs, promotions, etc
  • Liaise with, complete, participate in various government programs ie PPP Loan forgiveness, SBA, Exportech, etc
  • Collaborate with Finance and Marketing on monthly sales analysis reports for retail and wholesale
  • ADA Compliance
  • Oversee and support customer service
  • And other related tasks and duties as assigned or deemed necessary
